head

your heart races away

then throbs

like a hammered thumb

your arms and legs

tingle intensely

lost

to your control

you are shaking

you need

to throw up

your chest

tightens

you can barely

breathe

an invisible hand

is choking you

you are hot

sweat drips

from every pore

you are cold

chilled

to the core

you are losing

your mind

you are going

insane

you are going

to die

but it’s all just

in your head

all of it

in your head

just

in your head
